Restaurant Supervisor:
The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, MA is seeking a Seasonal Restaurant Supervisor for one of its five venues. This position oversees aspects of the dining experience within our club. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining inventory, and adhering to health and safety standards. Acting as the bridge between management and servers, they drive sales and handle customer escalations. Assists the restaurant manager with training, development and implementing customer service standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
- Acts as a liaison between wait staff and the kitchen staff to ensure timely and appropriate communications.
- Ensures that the restaurant and restaurant facilities are kept clean, well-stocked and organized.
- Assures all side work is completed, including all cleaning of equipment and storage areas.
- Assists Food & Beverage Manager in performing and maintaining food and beverage inventory.
- Assists with conducting pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
- Performs daily activities to include serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, and general duties.
- Addresses complaints and resolves problems.
- Assists in the coordination of department members that may include Hosts, Servers, and Bussers.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Credentials and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous point of sales experience.
- Previous supervisory role preferred.
