Fitness Instructor.
The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, MA is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Fitness Instructors to lead engaging and dynamic fitness classes for members of all ages and skill levels.
Position Overview The Group Fitness Instructor will teach a variety of classes, including Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Water Aerobics, HIIT, and more. This individual will report directly to the Director of Fitness and play a key role in promoting wellness, motivation, and a positive fitness experience for all members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead group fitness classes with energy, professionalism, and safety.
- Adapt classes to accommodate participants of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and appropriately.
- Motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized studio or pool area.
- Collaborate with the Director of Fitness to create new programs and maintain class schedules.
- Uphold all club policies, safety guidelines, and fitness certifications.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year teaching experience preferred.
- Active fitness certifications required (Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, etc.).
- CPR/AED Certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for inspiring and teaching others in a supportive environment.
- Ability to work well with members of all ages and fitness levels.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time. The position may involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
