The Club at New Seabury in Mashpee, MA is currently hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician who will work under the guidance of our experienced and respected Director of Facilities. This full-time year-round position entails performing various routine building maintenance and repair tasks. You will have an opportunity to learn and contribute to our building operations and maintenance. This position offers excellent potential for growth within the company and is eligible for PTO and benefits.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed.
- Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities.
- Change of all filters for HVAC as required.
- Performs routine maintenance around the property under the direction of the Director.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of trades to understand repair problems and make minor repairs on outlets, lamps and plumbing fixtures.
- General knowledge of power tools.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Credentials And Experience:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
Physical Requirements:
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time. The position may involve lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
